You might be surprised to find out how many state parks there actually are.  Some are fantastically huge, some are small.  But either way, they are great to visit and explore.  Visit the State Parks website at www.stateparks.com to find out how many state parks are in your state.

Geocaching has been around since roughly 2001 when GPS signals became public domain.  And leave it to some clever folks to make a world wide hide and seek game out of it.  This game is free, can be played solo, as a team, or as a whole family.  All you have to do is create a login on the www.geocaching.com website and have a GPS and you're in business.  Most smartphones today have GPS capability.  Download the app called "c:geo" and you can use your phone with your new geocaching login to locate any geocache that's close to you with all it's details.  Want to learn a bit more about geocaching before you dive in, check out the video below.
